In response to a letter no. F.Misc.2/07-08(ERO) dated 20.07.2009 from the Jt. Secretary, University Grants Commission, Eastern Regional Office regarding UGC REGULATIONS, 2009 ON CURBING THE MENACE OF RAGGING IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS,2009,F.1-16/2007(CPP-II) dated 17.06.09 and in view of the Syndicate resolution dated 19.08.09 (item no. 37) thereon the undersigned is directed to request you to take Immediate measures for implementing the provisions made in the said UGC
REGULATIONS, 2009 to be available in their Website viz. www.ugc.ac.in.
The undersigned is further directed to inform you that the compliance of the above mentioned provisions is mandatory.
