The department offers two parallel streams of Post-Graduate courses viz. Liberal Education leading to M.A. / M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees and professional education awarding B.Ed. and M.Ed. degrees which are basically teachers training programmes. Doctoral programmes are also pursued by the department.
