University Science Instrumentation Centre

The University Science Instrumentation Centre (USIC) was started in 1978 with the objective to provide Central Services for sophisticated analytical Instruments i.e. AAS-100 Spectrophotometer with FIAS, a dissecting Microscope with celltrum vacutip, Edwards Vacuum Coater and  a Transmission Electron Microscope.

Upgraded  Liquid Nitrogen Plant is installed in 2006. The material is produced and is used for research purpose in different research laboratories in Universities and other institutions.

A number of workshop-cum-training courses are organized every year.

There are research projects in USIC for progress of research work.
