ADMISSION NOTICE

5-Year Integrated course in Library & Information Science
Session: 2012 – 2017

Duly filled in application in the prescribed form available in the University website for admission to the 5-Year integrated course in Library & Information Science (2012 – 2017) accompanied by the counterpart of receipt on payment of Rs. 250/- at University Cash Counter, will be received by the Department of Library & Information Science, University of Calcutta till 29. 05. 2012 (Tuesday) (12 Noon – 4 P.M.) from eligible candidates.
The Admission Test will be held on 09. 06. 2012 (Saturday).

Venue: Asutosh Building, 87/1 College Street, Kolkata -73.

Tentative date for Publication of Result: 21. 06. 2012

Tentative date for Counseling cum admission: 27. 06. 2012

Total Intake: 40. Admission will be made on the basis of academic qualifications and admission test with reservations as per norms of the University.

Eligibility:
Any person appearing H.S (10 + 2) examination in the year 2012 and passed H.S (10 + 2) in the year 2011 in Indian Academic System or equivalent degree from recognized Council / Institution may apply for the said course this year.

N.B.: Application forms will not be sent by post. No personal communication with the candidate regarding admission will be made on behalf of the university.
