Library Fees and other Charges

  1. Overdue charges for Students and Research Scholars for the first 4 days after the due date Rs 1 per volume (between first day and fourth day) 5th day to 7th day Rs 2 per volume (between fifth day and seventh day). And for the subsequent period, i.e. after the 7th day @ Rs 1 per day/per volume.

  3. Rate for computer print-outs (Black & White) : Rs 3 per A4 size page for University Students/Teachers/Research Scholars/Staff Rs 5 per A4 size page for outside Scholars
  4. Rate for PVC membership card : Rs 10 per card
  5. Lost Library Cards -- Rs 25 per card. Another duplicate card for Students and Research Scholars be issued against a charge of Rs 100 per card. Thereafter no duplicate card shall be issued.
  6. Lost tokens -- Rs 25 per token.
  7. Lamination - Rs 10 per membership card and Rs 20 per A4 size paper. For outside users Rs 15 per card.
  8. Library fee for students -- Rs 200 per year (To be collected at a time for entire academic session).
  9. Library fee for scholar -- Rs 200 per year.
  10. Library fee for outside scholars : Rs 100/- for upto 1 month (reading facilities only) Rs 300/- for 3 months (reading facilities only)
  11. Re-employed teachers -- Refundable deposit of Rs 2000 for 5 books at a time and Rs 5000 (refundable) for 15 books at a time within that stipulated amount.
  12. Retired teachers/ employees -- Refundable deposit of Rs 2000 for 2 books at time within the stipulated amount.
  13. Guest teachers of the University -- Refundable deposit of Rs 2000 for 2 books at a time within the stipulated amount.
  14. Undergraduate and postgraduate students of the affiliated colleges of the University -- Rs 200 per year (only reading facilities).
  15. All Library related Forms are now available at the Membership Section of the Central Library.
